Your study journey will begin in the Joii Studies Web App, and you'll be prompted whenever you need to come back to it.

There is no need to download anything, as it's a Web App which is accessible via your mobile web browser, but you will receive a prompt to save the link on your phone for quick access.

You can also use Joii Studies Web App to reach out to our team for help and support. 

The Animal Research Tool (referred to as ART) App is what you will use to complete a Quality of Life Assessment (short questionnaire) before your in-person consultation.

Unlike Joii Studies, this will need to be downloaded from the App Store but please don't do it until we let you know that it's time! 

This is because you will need a study code to access the ART App and we'll send you this via email. Don't worry - we'll know when your in-person appointment is.

You will receive a prompt to complete terms and conditions for the QoL Dog Study, via this link. 

When you log into Joii Studies, you can complete your action using the 'quick start' button under the QoL Dog Study - see below.

We need a little time to review your dog's medical history if your initial application looks suitable. 

You'll receive an update on the outcome via email. 

If everything looks good, you will receive a prompt to book an online call with one of our vets.

You can do this by logging into the Joii Studies Web App here and navigating to the 'Next step' - see below. 

Within the Joii Studies Web App, you'll be able to keep track of all of your outstanding and upcoming steps. 

It's the day of your onboarding call which will take place in the Joii Studies Web App.

Please login a few minutes before and you'll see a 'Join Call' button, which will get you connected to one of our vets. If something happens, please have a look at the Changes & Cancellations section below.
  

We know you'll be keen to continue progressing in the study, but please don't download the ART App until we send you the study code that will allow you to sign up, via email.  

Don't worry - we know when your in-person appointment is, so we'll send you the study code no sooner than 6 days before it is due to take place.  

Once you're in the ART App and have signed up using the study code provided, you'll need to complete a Quality of Life Assessment. 

See below for a preview of what you'll see - click 'start assessment' to complete a short questionnaire about your dog. Then, you're all set for your in-person appointment as the results will be sent to your vet. 

It's the day of your in-person consultation with your vet. 

Your vet will have been briefed on exactly what they need to do during your consultation. 

Missing the appointment means that your involvement in the study will unfortunately not count. 

Once you've finished up at your in-person consultation and both you and your vet are happy to conclude, please confirm your attendance in the ART App by adding a check-in. 

It's the final step! 

We'll prompt you to complete a feedback questionnaire by emailing you a link, once we've checked that your in-person consultation was succesfully completed. Please allow a few days for this.

The feedback questionnaire will happen in the Joii Studies Web App.  

After you've completed your feedback questionnaire, please allow 7 days for us to process and email your reward. 

If the Study Hub does not cover a query that you may have, please reach out for support. 

You can do this by logging into the Joii Studies Web App and navigating to the 'Report an issue' button within the Quality of Life Dog Study, which will appear under 'Ongoing'. 

We will come back to you ASAP. 
 

For this particular study, it's important that we keep to your original timings as this is a key part of how we collect data. 

But, we do understand that life happens! You can reach out to the team by clicking on the QoL Dog Study in the Joii Studies Web App and click on 'Report an issue' to get in touch with our team. We'll come back to you ASAP.
