Optimmune Ophthalmic Ointment for Dogs

Optimmune Ophthalmic Ointment is a specially formulated veterinary product containing 0.2% cyclosporine. It is designed for the effective management of chronic dry eye, known as keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS), and chronic superficial keratitis (CSK) in dogs. Not recommended for dogs with congenital alacrima, those on sulfonamide treatment, canine distemper virus, metabolic disease, surgical removal of the third eyelid gland, or facial nerve paralysis with loss of the palpebral reflex. Safety has not been established for pre-existing viral or fungal ocular infections, puppies, pregnant bitches, or dogs used for breeding.
