Elbow dysplasia is a condition which only affects dogs.

The closest disease to elbow dysplasia in cats may be medial humeral epicondylitis (MHE). This is a very rare disease that occurs when mineral deposits develop around the elbow joint. Accumulation of these large mineral deposits can compress nerves, leading to severe pain. Surgery is often necessary for cats with this disease.
