ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Renal Select Adult Dry Cat Food

ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Renal Select Adult Dry Cat Food is specially formulated to nutritionally support adult cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. When cats' kidneys are not functioning efficiently, phosphorus cannot effectively be filtered from the bloodstream. This diet provides a low phosphorus content and high-quality proteins to help support kidney health and function. Some cats may have a reduced appetite when experiencing impaired renal function, so this food has an adapted energy content to reduce the volume of each meal. The tailor-made kibble has a unique shape, size, texture and aroma for optimal palatability, helping to stimulate appetite in cases of food aversion.

This food is ideal for cats with azotaemic Chronic Kidney Disease with proteinuria (IRIS stage 1 to 4), cats with chronic Kidney Disease (IRIS stage 2 to 4), management of calcium oxalate urolith recurrence in cats with impaired renal function, and prevention of recurrence of urolithiasis requiring urine alkalinisation (urate & cystine uroliths).
