Apoquel Film Coated Tablets are used for the treatment of itching in dogs with allergic disease. They also help reduce the clinical signs of atopic dermatitis. The active ingredient, Oclacitinib, targets the enzymes involved in allergic reactions, and within 4 hours of administration, they start to provide relief. Within 24 hours, itching is generally well-managed, helping your dog feel more comfortable. Unlike conventional steroid-based compounds, cyclosporine, or antihistamines, Apoquel is specifically designed to target the root cause of itching, with minimal impact on immune function. It is established as safe for short-term use, working on cell proteins responsible for itching.

This medication is ideal for dogs suffering from allergic skin conditions, including atopic dermatitis, who are at least 12 months of age and weigh 3 kg or more.

Not recommended for dogs less than 12 months of age or less than 3 kg bodyweight.

Not recommended for dogs with serious infections.

Not recommended for breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs.
