CLOMICALM® for Dogs is an FDA-approved veterinary medication specifically formulated to help manage separation anxiety in your canine companion. This oral tablet works by gently adjusting brain chemistry to alleviate the anxious feelings your dog experiences when left alone, paving the way for more effective behaviour modification training. It can help reduce common anxiety-related behaviours such as excessive barking, destructive tendencies, house soiling, and excessive drooling. CLOMICALM® does not act as a sedative, but rather helps your dog feel calmer and more receptive to learning new, positive coping mechanisms.

This medication is ideal for adult dogs over 6 months of age who are experiencing separation anxiety. Your veterinarian may also prescribe it for other anxiety-related conditions like noise phobias or repetitive behaviours as part of a tailored treatment plan.

Not recommended for dogs with known hypersensitivity to clomipramine or other tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) medications, dogs with a history of seizures, or male breeding dogs.

Composition:

Each tablet of Clomicalm contains as active ingredient:

• Clomipramine hydrochloride 5 mg (equivalent to 4.5 mg Clomipramine)

• Clomipramine hydrochloride 20 mg (equivalent to 17.9 mg Clomipramine)

• Clomipramine hydrochloride 80 mg (equivalent to 71.7 mg Clomipramine)

Dosage:
1.25 - 2.5kg Half a 5 mg tablet
>2.5 - 5kg One 5 mg tablet
>5 - 10kg Half a 20mg tablet
>10 - 20kg One 20mg tablet
>20 - 40kg Half an 80mg tablet
>40 - 80kg One 80 mg tablet"
✓ Follow your veterinarian's prescription, usually given orally once or twice daily.
✓ Can be administered with or without food, based on your dog's needs.
X Not recommended for dogs with a history of seizures or cardiac issues.
